You're a skilled RN who wants your nursing to mean something. In this role, you'll support people through one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives — withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs — in their own community, not a clinical ward.
You'll bring your clinical sharp-eye to withdrawal monitoring and medication management while working alongside GPs, mental health clinicians, and a committed AOD team. No two days look the same: you'll be problem-solving complex presentations, navigating dual diagnosis, and building the kind of therapeutic relationships that actually shift outcomes.
This is community nursing at its most purposeful — for someone who's comfortable with complexity, energised by collaboration, and driven by equity.
In addition to receiving a salary and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.
There is also the option to increase your annual leave entitlements through our purchased leave program.
Paid Parental Leave for up to 10 weeks.
10% discount on Kindergarten and Childcare at Uniting Early Learning Services.
