As a Volunteer Coordinator you will provide an active service model with the emphasis on coordinating, recruiting, training, supporting and retaining volunteers to assist consumers to participate in everyday activities, maintain or rebuild confidence, improve social connectedness and emotional wellbeing, and stay active and healthy.
You will lead implementation of processes for engaging volunteers, participants and carers in the ongoing development, review and evaluation of activities. Refer to individual’s goals, take account of diversity and the needs and preferences of participants when planning programs and activities. You will oversee and, as required, participate in capacity building and social inclusion activities for participants.

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a tertiary qualification in Disability, Social Work, Community Services or a related discipline and experience working with vulnerable people
