    We’re looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and skilled practitioner to join our team and deliver high-quality, person-centred support to clients with complex needs. This is your chance to be part of something truly meaningful.

    In this exciting role, you’ll:

    • Provide tailored treatment and support to clients with complex needs, empowering them to take the next steps in their recovery.
    • Build strong, effective community partnerships, from GPs and mental health services to hospitals, family services, housing, homelessness support, child protection, financial counselling, employment agencies, and more.
    • Strengthen interagency collaboration to create smoother, more accessible recovery pathways.
    • Engage clients with empathy, skill, and respect, ensuring a safe, inclusive, non-dis-criminatory service experience.
    • Deliver coordinated case management that supports the whole person, including families and carers.
    • Offer brief interventions and education to community providers, helping build capability across the sector.

    Your skills and experience
    • Relevant Health and welfare Tertiary Qualification i.e./ Social work, welfare, social or behavioural science, Counselling, Nursing and have completed a qualification in Alcohol and other drugs, or are willing to undertake four core Induction competencies (within the first 12 months of employment) Or/
    • Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs work (new workers entering the AOD Sector without qualification to have completed or have commenced undertaking)
    • Experience delivering a range of counselling modalities and/or supports to this client group (preferred)
    • Familiarity with the Alcohol and Other Drug Sector, knowledge of the relationship with the Forensic AOD System and Central Intake Services.
