Your new role

You’ll provide practical, responsive administration and coordination across our Children, Youth and Families directorate.

Supporting the Heads of The Orange Door and Family Violence Stream, you’ll help coordinate the day-to-day activities that keep the directorate running smoothly. This includes diaries, meetings, communications and documentation, as well as reporting, workforce administration and directorate-wide initiatives.

It’s a varied role where you’ll work with people across Uniting, keep multiple priorities on track and ensure information and administrative processes flow effectively. You’ll also have the opportunity to identify simpler and more efficient ways of working.

Your skills and experience

You’re an experienced business support or administration professional who can bring order to competing priorities, exercise sound judgement and build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • Experience providing high-level administrative, executive or business support to senior leaders.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent judgement, initiative, discretion and confidence handling sensitive information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office/business systems skills and strong reporting and documentation capability.
