Your new role

As a Performance Analyst, you’ll be an important part of helping us support consistent reporting and analysis of data to improve the services we provide at Uniting. You’ll mainly focus on supporting specific Divisions and Programs, but there will also be plenty of opportunities to collaborate with and support other teams across the organisation.

You will play a key role in providing the necessary support to the organisation to enable reporting of performance data against any relevant funding agreements or contracts, and driving data driven decision making to enable continuous program improvements.

In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying, creating and transforming data sets required to report on, analyse, and interpret performance of services – both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • Contributing to the accurate and timely completion of performance reporting for both operational/contract and governance requirements
  • Solving complex problems with data integrity, in collaboration with subject matter experts and funder representatives
  • Supporting complex information analysis in response to enquiries, and providing data informed advice to leaders and managers within Uniting to inform the continuous improvement of program delivery
  • Developing ‘as built’ documentation and instructions – ensuring sustainability in the quality of data and reporting products

Your skills and experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in business analytics and or administration (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing performance reporting to meet regulatory needs
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing and interpreting large volumes of data
  • Advanced skills in SQL Reporting Services
  • Advanced skills with SQL
  • Demonstrated experience with SSRS/SSIS reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI (DAX, M, PowerQuery)
