Your skills and experience

You will bring relevant qualifications and experience, along with a strong understanding of the needs of carers and the people they support.

You’ll have:

• Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Disability Studies, Allied Health, or relevant demonstrated industry experience.
• Understanding of the challenges and issues associated with the caring role.
• Experience or knowledge supporting older people, younger people and people with disability.
• Understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Knowledge of community inclusion and participation, with experience responding to community needs or identified service gaps.
• Demonstrated experience conducting community and/or health assessments using a strengths-based approach and developing care plans.
• Experience working collaboratively with consumers, carers and relevant agencies to achieve individual goals.
