As an IAP Worker, you’ll be the first point of contact for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the Wimmera. You’ll:

  • Complete intake assessments for individuals and families in housing crisis.
  • Provide support through the Housing Establishment Fund (HEF).
  • Help clients navigate housing options, support services and referrals.
  • Be a calm, compassionate guide during stressful and uncertain times.
  • Support broader housing programs when required.

You won’t just process assessments, you’ll provide hope, direction and practical support.

Your skills and experience 

  • Tertiary qualifications in human services, welfare or social services or substantial years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with consumers, experiencing homelessness or housing crisis (Preferred).
