Your new role
Are you a strategic finance leader with a passion for social impact? As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering our Housing and Property strategy and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this hands-on role partners directly with the General Manager of our Housing & Property division, providing critical financial oversight, insight, and leadership across Uniting Housing Victoria, a registered community housing provider. You’ll lead budgeting and forecasting processes, deliver high-quality reporting to executive stakeholders and the Board, and assess capital project feasibility through robust financial modelling.

Your skills and experience
You’re a CA/CPA-qualified professional with strong commercial acumen and a passion for working in values-led, purpose-driven organisations.
You will also bring with you:
Previous experience within the community housing or property development sectors
Extensive experience in financial modelling, management of budgets and preparation of financial reports
Sound understanding of accounting standards relevant to NFP entities
Demonstrated experience in leading a high functioning financial team
