Community Initiatives and Alliance Officer

  • 528721
  • Horsham, VIC, 3400
  • Child, Youth & Families
  • Permanent Full Time
  • Closing on: Dec 18 2025

In this key role, you will work closely with local communities to build strong connections and improve wellbeing—making a real difference in the lives of children, families, and the broader Wimmera community. You’ll bring people together, support community development, and coordinate services so they work seamlessly for those who need them most.

A major focus of this role is leading the Wimmera Child and Family Alliance, a partnership funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH). You’ll have the opportunity to turn ideas into action, plan innovative initiatives, and track their impact—shaping how services collaborate to meet community needs.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creativity, problem-solving, and making meaningful connections.

You will engage with the community by listening to local voices, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and championing initiatives that leave a lasting impact. Your work will ensure that services not only meet needs but create positive, meaningful experiences for children and families.

If you’re looking for a role where your ideas matter, your leadership is valued, and your work truly changes lives, this is the opportunity for you.
