Your new role

Help people with disabilities or health conditions live safely and independently at home. You’ll assist with everyday tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, and community access, helping clients stay connected and maintain their independence.

This role is part of the Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP), supporting people under 65 (or under 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) to live well at home and participate in community life.

You’ll work mainly in clients’ homes across Baw Baw and Latrobe, so a current driver’s licence and your own car are essential (kilometers reimbursed).

Your skills and experience

You will bring with you:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (KM’s reimburse)
  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to perform domestic tasks and provide personal care
  • Ability to provide social and emotional support for clients
