Your new role
As the Activity Youth Worker, you will engage the young people at Karrung in activities that will better their health, wellbeing and fitness. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective organisation, planning, implementation, participation and supervision of activities for residents.
In this role, you will build effective relationships with residents to support positive outcomes, while developing activity plans tailored to their interests and needs. Additionally, this role involves liaising with external agencies and organisations to coordinate appropriate external activities for residents.

Your skills and experience
Certificate III in Sports and Recreation or equivalent is desirable.
Current drivers licence.
Demonstrated experience working in the Sports and Recreation industry is desirable.
Proven experience in community services, desirable but not essential.
Demonstrated experience in working with young people
Excellent networking, communication and presentation skills
Excellent administrative skills including a high standard of computer skills using Microsoft Office.
