Your new role
As the Team Leader – Business Support & Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a consistent Quality Management and compliance culture across Uniting Housing.
In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:
Leading the compliance team, providing support & guidance, and fostering a culture of compliance
Reviewing, maintaining and publishing the appropriate policies, procedures and standards to maintain Uniting Housing registration
Managing compliance reporting, internal audits, and addressing any audit findings or concerns
Ensuring all community housing operations comply with local, state, and national regulations.

Your skills and experience
Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline, including community services, social sciences or social housing management
Qualification/s in residential property management
Experience in the community housing and/or homelessness services sectors (highly desirable)
Demonstrated experience in the community housing sector (highly desirable)
Knowledge of asset management, building and safety regulations and standards (highly desirable)
Strong skills and experience in quality improvement processes and compliance
The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and manage a team in a changing environment
