Your new role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workplace Relations Advisor to join our dynamic team at Uniting.
In this crucial role, you will provide expert employee relations support and advice across the organization, working closely with the Senior Manager of Workplace Relations. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of Uniting’s Workplace Relations framework, while upskilling the People & Culture team and leadership across the organization.

Your skills and experience
Essential:
Degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, Employment Law, or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience as a senior workplace relations specialist
Strong knowledge of workplace and employment-related legislation and regulations
Extensive experience in managing and advising on complex ER and Payroll matters
Experience with interpreting and working with enterprise agreements and modern awards
Experience in preparing responses and representing employers in external tribunals, including the Fair Work Commission
Experience with the end-to-end enterprise agreement-making process
Desirable:
Bachelor’s or Master of Laws specializing in Employment Law
Conciliation and mediation qualifications or certificate in alternative dispute resolution
