Your new role

This key role works as part of a team that helps families connect with services like schools, hospitals, and child health programs. Your role is to understand what families need and provide support early on, especially for those who may be struggling. The goal is to help children and families before problems become more serious and require more intensive help.

This program focuses on helping families improve how they interact with their children, build confidence in parenting, and learn how to take care of themselves. It also encourages children to attend important services like maternal and child health appointments, kindergarten, and school regularly.

Parents are supported to build stronger social connections, such as joining peer support groups. At the same time, staff in schools and health services are given tools and training to better support families with early challenges, making sure everyone involved feels confident and capable.
