Whether you are an experienced Early Childhood Educator seeking flexibility with your hours or just getting started – we can support you and provide on-the-job training from our nominated supervisor and the team.
As a casual educator at our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program in Nagambie, you will be part of a growing team of educators who deliver after school programs that provide high-quality education and care to school aged children and support the wider community. You will provide nurturing care, ensure a safe and welcoming environment and create recreational and education experiences that are inclusive for all to enjoy.
You will build positive relationships with your team and work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for our children and families. Our educators feel excited to come to work, knowing the difference they make to a child’s development.
Our work isn’t easy, but it matters. Work with people who care as much as you.
In addition to your hourly rate + casual loading + super, you can access the following:

You have an enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare, with the ability to form positive relationships with children and team members and ideally, you’ll have experience gained in Early Childhood or engaging with children in some capacity.
You demonstrate the ability to work with your OSHC Service Leader and team to plan and implement a fun, safe and engaging program that adheres to our laws, regulations and learning frameworks.
You have a current or willingness to obtain first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certificates as well as a Working with Children check.
There are many different educational pathways to be qualified for this position. Whether it’s a Bachelor of Arts, Science, or a Diploma of Community Services, these are just some of the qualifications equivalent to a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Check your qualification here.
