About your team

At the Whittlesea Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals, we walk alongside people, providing a compassionate, recovery-oriented approach to address wellbeing goals, reduce harm, and improve quality of life. The team are big believers in breaking down barriers and working collaboratively to achieve best outcomes that really matter.

Your new role

Working within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high quality specialised AOD interventions, assessment and treatment planning through an intersectional and trauma-informed lens. In addition, you'll play a vital role in shifting the landscape of service provision by supporting the integration of AOD and Mental Health within the service and supporting a strong lived experience workforce.

Your skills and experience

You will have significant experience in AOD, a strong understanding of therapeutic AOD and Mental Health interventions, and a proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of people and organisations.

You will also bring with you:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in a health/welfare related discipline
• A Certificate IV in AOD or completion of the AOD Core Competencies (or willingness to complete within first 2 years of employment)
• Competencies in dual diagnosis (or willingness to complete within first 2 years of employment)
