Your new role

Uniting is delivering a major transformation through Project Mosaic, implementing a modern HR and Payroll platform that will strengthen how we support our people, leaders and services into the future.

The Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of this transformation. Working closely with the Program Manager, you’ll lead project planning and delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships and ensure strong governance, risk and testing disciplines are embedded throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a highly visible role working with internal stakeholders include People & Culture, Finance, ICT and operational leaders and external vendors. You will partner closely with the Change Management team to help ensure the system is not only delivered well, but is understood, adopted and valued by our people.

Your skills and experience

You’re a delivery-focused Project Manager who is comfortable operating across technical, operational and people environments. You know how to balance governance and structure with strong stakeholder engagement and practical problem solving.

You’ll bring with you:

  • Experience managing complex enterprise transformation or system implementation projects, ideally HCM, Payroll or HR transformation
  • Strong project methodology capability, including governance, reporting and project tools
  • Strong understanding of HCM processes and payroll operations would be highly regarded
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across HR, Finance, ICT and senior leadership
  • Experience managing vendors and ensuring delivery against contractual commitments
  • Proven ability to oversee system configuration and integration with SMEs and business stakeholders
  • Strong risk and issue management capability, including maintaining risk registers and mitigation plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, translating business needs into delivery outcomes
  • Experience supporting governance and reporting to steering committees and working groups
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, IT or related discipline and Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar) are highly regarded
