Your new role

Help bring a new service to life for local children and families.

As Service Leader, you'll play a key role in launching and growing the service.

You'll work closely with local families, the school community and Uniting's support team to establish a program where children feel safe, connected and excited to attend.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the establishment of a new OSHC service
  • Build strong relationships within the local community
  • Help onboard, support and lead a team of educators
  • Shape the culture and day-to-day experience of the service
  • Create engaging programs that reflect the interests and needs of local children
  • Grow participation and build a valued community service

Your skills and experience

You’ll bring with you:

  • A Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Experience working in Early Childhood Education and Care or OSHC
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
  • A passion for creating positive outcomes for children and families

You'll also hold, or be willing to obtain:

  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Employee Working with Children Check
