As a Mobile Support Team (MST) Support Worker Therapeutic Residential Services you will provide after-hours support to residential units caring for young people by ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development through emotional and physical care, transport assistance, incident response, and routine planning.
You will be mentoring and supervising staff to maintain safe overnight practices, liaising with external stakeholders such as Child Protection, and supporting other youth programs as needed. You will fulfil legal, safety, and reporting obligations, participating in team discussions and supervision, and maintaining personal accountability through compliance with policies, promoting a safe workplace, and declaring any conflicts of interest or issues affecting suitability to work with children.
