As an Intake & Case Worker, you will assess, triage and book clients into CareRing services and provide and facilitate appropriate referral / appointments to services available within and external to Uniting.
In this role, you will also respectfully engage with clients about the issues they are facing and identify areas for action including the provision of short-term case managed support and / or counselling where indicated.
This is a phone-based case work and intake role, working nationally for corporate funding partners. You will ideally live driving distance from Melbourne for occasional face-to-face meetings, but this is a remote working role.

To be successful in this role you will be a skilled case worker experienced in:
You will also hold a qualification in Community Services, Social Work or other related field, and be adaptable to change with a great work ethic, and a compassionate nature.
You will be a dynamic, compassionate intake and caseworker with experience in family violence, homelessness and mental health issues.
