Your new role
As Community Housing Officer, you will build solid and proactive relationships with our renters to find and sustain suitable tenancy and re-enable their approach to long-term housing accommodation.
In this role, you will collaborate with other Uniting Support Services to manage a range of tenancy and property functions within a dedicated portfolio ensuring that the balance between renter satisfaction and legislation is maintained.
This role is a true Monday to Friday opportunity that gives you your weekends back. While we ask that you work from the office to enhance our supportive and collaborative team culture, you will have flexibility with your working hours.

Your skills and experience
Current Victorian driver’s licence
Demonstrated experience and/or qualifications in residential property management
Prior experience in the community housing and/or homelessness services sectors (desirable)
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse individuals, showing empathy, and managing sensitive situations in a compassionate and respectful manner
Knowledge of the RTA and VCAT processes
Ability to manage multiple properties, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced property management environment.
