Your new role

As Assistant Development Manager you will support the end-to-end delivery of social and affordable housing Projects. Working closely with the Development Manager, you will help coordinator project activities across feasibility, planning, procurement, construction, and handover. You’ll act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, maintain accurate project documentation, and support seamless transitions from development to operations — all while contributing to meaningful housing outcomes that align with Uniting’s values and community impact goals.

Your skills and experience

You will bring with you:

  • Experience in project coordination or support, ideally across property, construction or community housing sectors
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment with multiple concurrent projects
  • Proficiency in project management software, ideally Smartsheet, for tracking deliverables and coordinating project activities
  • An eye for detail, strong organisation skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders
