Your new role
As Assistant Development Manager you will support the end-to-end delivery of social and affordable housing Projects. Working closely with the Development Manager, you will help coordinator project activities across feasibility, planning, procurement, construction, and handover. You’ll act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, maintain accurate project documentation, and support seamless transitions from development to operations — all while contributing to meaningful housing outcomes that align with Uniting’s values and community impact goals.

Your skills and experience
You will bring with you:
Experience in project coordination or support, ideally across property, construction or community housing sectors
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment with multiple concurrent projects
Proficiency in project management software, ideally Smartsheet, for tracking deliverables and coordinating project activities
An eye for detail, strong organisation skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders
