Your new role

Uniting is searching for an experienced and influential Manager Contracts & Procurement to shape the future of our organisation‑wide procurement and contract management function. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is your opportunity to influence how we source, negotiate, and manage the critical partnerships that enable our services to thrive.

In this strategic leadership position, you’ll be the driving force behind delivering meaningful change through internal trust-based partnerships and procurement excellence at Uniting. You’ll set the direction for procurement strategy, build best‑practice governance frameworks, and lead category management approaches that deliver value, uplift performance, and minimise risk.

This hands-on role is your chance to oversee high‑value and complex sourcing activities, guide key negotiations, and ensure we meet all regulatory, probity, funding, insurance, and fleet management requirements. With a team of specialists responsible for day‑to‑day activity, you’ll focus on outcomes, delivering strong value for money, operational integrity, and organisational capability.

Join a purpose‑driven organisation where your leadership enables better outcomes for the communities we support. Your work will help shape a procurement function that is ethical, sustainable, and impactful, and your expertise will truly make a difference.
