As a Manager Child and Family Services Inner East you will be part of the Eastern Melbourne Leadership Team. The position has both a strategic and operational focus and actively contributes to achievement of Uniting’s strategic objectives. Leading the delivery and development of high quality child and family services, inclusive of the Inner East Orange Door.
The Child and Family Services team promote the safety, stability and development of vulnerable children, young people and their families; and build capacity and resilience for children, families and the community. You will leads a team of employees and volunteers, and are responsible for ensuring service responsiveness to consumer and community needs, and identifying and responding to evolving service development requirements. A key part of your role is developing and maintaining sustainable and productive partnerships and ensuring accountability with statutory requirements.
You will also have the ability to inspire and support child wellbeing and family services practitioners and ensure that our service is providing a high quality, consumer focused service that meets and exceeds program requirements and KPI

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a Bachelor level in a relevant professional discipline such as social work, psychology or social science. A Masters level degree in management or equivalent would be desirable.
