Your new role
In this newly established position, you will play a critical role in supporting Uniting’s Foster Care programs across Victoria to drive the recruitment and retention of foster carers. You will be responsible for all incoming foster care enquiries (via phone, email and social media), engaging with prospective carers in a responsive manner before handing over to local foster care teams.
You will be required to identify individualised local program needs and collect data on foster care engagement strategies to better inform future recruitment campaigns. You will also maintain Uniting’s foster care webpage and take the lead on carer engagement and promotion activities.

Your skills and experience
You will bring with you:
A relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Marketing or a related discipline
Knowledge of Home Based Care and the challenges faced by community service organisations in the delivery of foster care services
Understanding of the end-to-end foster care recruitment and accreditation process
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
