Your new role
In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with residents, develop partnerships, and support initiatives that bring residents together. With over 800 properties across Victoria, you will work alongside the Community Engagement and Development Lead to deliver Uniting Housing’s Community Engagement Strategy, which focuses on:
Building partnerships to enhance community connections
Delivering place-based initiatives
Support with the coordination, delivery and progression of Uniting Housing’s Consumer Partnership activities
Assisting residents to apply for Uniting’s community development grants, and
Developing resources, publications and communications, resources that benefit our residents.

Your skills and experience
You will bring with you:
A tertiary qualification in community development/community services, or a related discipline
Relevant experience in community engagement, or similar role, is highly desirable
Capacity to work flexibly and innovatively to create initiatives that benefit our residents
Demonstrated ability to build rapport, establish trust, and work collaboratively with consumers and stakeholders
An understanding of the community housing sector and issues faced by marginalised communities
