Your new role

Ready to take the step from strong administrator or PA into your first Executive Assistant role?

You’ll support the Executive Director, Housing & Property responsible for a fast-moving portfolio focused on improving housing outcomes for communities. You’ll move into true executive support, gaining exposure to divisional priorities, cross-team coordination and higher-level operations.

This role suits someone who loves systems, structure and making things run better. You’ll help organise priorities, prepare documentation, coordinate workflows across teams, and improve processes so the division runs smoothly. You won’t just manage diaries; you’ll help create order in a complex environment.

If you’re naturally organised, think ahead, and enjoy solving “how can we do this better?” problems, this is a role where you can stretch into executive-level work with the support to grow.

Benefits of working at Uniting

At Uniting, you’ll enjoy:

  • A genuine development step into executive-level support.
  • A supportive environment that values learning and improvement.
  • Flexibility to WFH up to 2 days per week +3 days in our CBD.
  • Up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits that can be used for living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing and streaming services.
  • Save on dining out and drinks with a meal entertainment benefit of $2,650 annually.
  • Increase your annual leave entitlements through our purchase leave program.
  • Up to 10 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers (4 for secondary).
  • An extra 17.5% on top of your fortnightly pay when you take paid annual leave.
  • 25% discount at Uniting Op Shops.
Your skills and experience

You might currently be a Personal Assistant, senior administrator, team coordinator or project support officer who’s ready to step up.

You will also bring with you:

  • Strong organisation and coordination skills in a busy environment
  • Confidence managing documents, schedules and competing priorities
  • A natural ability to create structure and improve processes
  • Professional communication and discretion with sensitive information
  • Experience managing diary appointments and coordinating meetings
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.

Exposure to governance processes, Board or Committee support and or experience in housing, property, government-funded or community services would be ideal but not essential.
