Your new role
As a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, you will support the overall operations of the service and lead, guide, and support a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
This includes:
Providing pedagogical leadership to the team to ensure the provision of a contemporary, quality and diverse educational program based on an approved curriculum framework.
Ensuring children’s agency, choice and influence are promoted, so that the programs meet the interests and abilities of each child.
Providing leadership and being part of a large passionate professional team ensuring the provision of quality Early Childhood programs at the early learning service.
Ensuring partnerships are developed with families and in the community.
Ongoing reflective practice, critical reflection and developing a positive professional team and organisational culture.

Your skills and experience
You enjoy working autonomously while being part of, and supported by, a collaborative and forward-thinking team. You can develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, with empathy and support at the forefront of your work.
You’ll also bring with you:
A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood or equivalent Approved Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority qualification).
Current VIT registration.
Experience gained in early childhood education.
Strong organisation and planning skills, including a high attention to detail.
