You will play a key role in helping us consistently and authentically celebrate diversity and welcome all people regardless of ethnicity, faith, age, disability, culture, language, gender identity, sex, or sexual orientation.
You will be part of a small team whose purpose is to build organisational capacity to foster equity and inclusion for staff, volunteers, and consumers from minoritised communities.
It’s a great opportunity to be part of the development and implementation of Uniting’s first whole-of-organisation Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy that will build up and out from our existing action plans for specific minoritised communities (LGBTIQA+, culturally and linguistically diverse, refugee and asylum seekers, disability).
Our work isn’t easy, but it matters, and you will be working with people who care as much as you do about fostering equity and inclusion inclusion for staff, volunteers, and consumers.
The position is part-time, 4 days per week to December 2026. We believe in flexibility and currently work a combination of office-based time and work-from-home days. Our office in Lonsdale Street offers a range of concierge services, great end-of-trip facilities, and events such as free Yoga and well-being sessions.
