Your new role

As an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Director, you'll provide strategic, operational and educational leadership across a portfolio of OSHC services, supporting Service Leaders to deliver high-quality programs that enable children to learn, grow and thrive. Working collaboratively with leaders, schools and the broader Early Learning team, you'll drive quality, continuous improvement, service sustainability and positive outcomes for children, families and communities.

You'll be joining one of Victoria and Tasmania's largest and most trusted providers of early learning and outside school hours care. At Uniting, we're committed to creating safe, inclusive and inspiring environments where children belong, educators are supported to grow, and communities are strengthened. As part of a collaborative leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to influence practice, mentor emerging leaders and contribute to the ongoing growth of our OSHC portfolio.

We have two part-time opportunities available, based in Hobart. Ideally, we're seeking a combination of three and four days per week, however we're open to discussing the right arrangement with the successful candidates. Whether you're looking for greater work-life balance or the opportunity to make a broader impact across multiple services, this is a rewarding leadership role where your expertise will help shape the future of OSHC at Uniting.

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in education and care, ideally across multiple services or teams.
