About the role

As an Early Childhood Trainee Diploma Educator, you will gain hands-on experience and knowledge in early childhood education while working under the supervision of experienced childcare professionals. This role is designed to provide practical training and support towards obtaining a formal qualification in the Early Years Sector. You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the childcare centre, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children.

You will also be well-supported in your role by our Education Leader/ECT and Centre Director who will mentor and support you through your learning journey.

About you

You will have experience shaping high-quality services that deliver learning and leisure experiences for children and promote the well-being and support of children and families who use them.

You will also have:

  • A sound understanding of operational requirements, including demonstrating applied knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child development and quality care practices.
  • Sound knowledge of Belonging, Being, Becoming that is reflected and articulated in programming and reflection on outcomes.
  • An approved Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority qualification, Cert III (see list of approved qualifications).
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates- or willingness to obtain them.
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check / Working with Vulnerable Persons Check
