Your new role

We're looking for an experienced tenancy or property management professional to manage a portfolio of community housing properties and deliver high-quality tenancy and property management services. This is a hands-on role where you'll balance resident engagement, maintenance coordination, legislative compliance and tenancy management to achieve sustainable housing outcomes.

You will be the key contact for residents throughout the tenancy lifecycle, managing complex matters with professionalism, sound judgement and a thorough understanding of the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act. You'll be comfortable having difficult conversations, resolving disputes and working with a range of stakeholders to support successful tenancy outcomes.

Your impact will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of community housing tenancies and properties.
  • Applying the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act in day-to-day practice.
  • Coordinating maintenance requests and working closely with the Housing Maintenance Team to ensure repairs are actioned in a timely manner and in line with legislative requirements.
  • Conducting tenancy reviews, inspections and property visits.
  • Managing rent arrears, breaches, neighbour disputes and complex matters.
  • Preparing documentation and representing tenancy matters at VCAT.
  • Building productive relationships with residents, support services and community partners.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

This role is based at our Blackburn office, with regular office attendance required and occasional field-based activities including property inspections and resident visits.
