As an Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) Childcare Worker, you will provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children whose parent or guardian is undergoing substance abuse treatment. You will also develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of children, while maintaining a supportive and non-judgmental approach when interacting with children and their families.

In addition to your salary of SCHADS Level 3 + super, you can access the following.
You will hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services (or equivalent) as well as a Certificate IV in AOD or Mental Health (or willingness to complete within 24 months of employment).
