Your new role

The Advanced Foster Care Case Manager supports children and young people in foster care by making sure they are safe, stable, and well. You will manage complex cases, especially those involving disability, and help plan for long-term care and permanency.

This role works closely with carers, families, and other professionals to get the best outcomes for each child. As a senior team member, you will also mentor others, share expert advice, and help improve how services are delivered.

A strong understanding of trauma, child development, disability, and the foster care system is essential for this role.

Your skills and experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree of Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or related discipline with appropriate practical experience
  • Certificates in Shared Lives Victoria and Step by Step Assessment Tool, will be highly regarded
  • Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
