Join our Housing and Property Team.

• Newly created role within Uniting’s Housing & Property division
• $150-160k + super + increase take-home pay with up to $15,900 in salary packaging.
• Full-time ongoing role with WFH flexibility, based in Melbourne CBD.

About the opportunity

Lead our Commercial Property Asset Planning & Projects team of two project managers and three project coordinators, working together to drive efficiency and excellence across the commercial property portfolio for Uniting Vic Tas.

Playing a pivotal role in overseeing the successful implementation of our Strategic Asset Management Plan to optimise the Uniting property portfolio, you will undertake site reviews to identify opportunities, including site optimisation, consolidation, divestment, and re-development, and driving these outcomes for the business.

You will also be responsible for the delivery of Uniting’s capital works program, including major capital projects.  These are projects across our various asset classes including early learning sites, op shops, offices, and our housing portfolio.

In addition to a base salary of $150-160k and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.

We offer a great location in Wesley Place, Lonsdale Street. The building offers a range of concierge services and excellent end-of-trip facilities. We also work flexibly and set you up with the tools and access to work-from-home some days or at our other Uniting offices across Vic and Tas.

About you

You have extensive experience in the property sector and bring strong commercial and financial acumen to the role evidenced by developing project feasibilities, business cases, financial forecasts and budgets.

You are a strategic thinker and an established leader with a track record in leading teams to success. You have skills and experience in construction and project management and can confidently deliver complex projects and oversee risk.

You have demonstrated experience in managing large operational and capital budget together with excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster and maintain high stakeholder engagement.

A Bachelor's / Masters degree in Property, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is also required.
