About the opportunity
Uniting are in search of an enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Harm Reduction & Overdose Response Clinician to join our high performing team based in Coburg. In Uniting’s Harm Reduction team, we meet people where they are at, providing a non-judgemental and compassionate approach to address and reduce the risk of overdose and other substance use related harms. The team are big believers in breaking down barriers and working collaboratively with individuals, families, and communities to achieve outcomes that really matter.
As a Senior Harm Reduction Clinician, you will work within a passionate, experienced team to deliver high quality, specialised harm reduction interventions, education, and training, with a strong emphasis on advocacy. In addition, you'll play a vital role in improving service access for vulnerable people with complex needs by supporting the Medically Supervised Injecting Room and Uniting’s own NSP.
