Your new role

As the Finding Solutions and Adolescent Support worker, you will provide practical assistance and support to adolescents and their families. In this role, you will provide a creative services response to young people and their families which includes the use of mediation intervention, supporting and strengthening the family relationship.

The program aims to provide a response to highly vulnerable and complex needs individuals and families, delivering a high quality and sometimes intensive level of case assessment, support and intervention for individuals, families and children.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor of Social Work and / or substantial years of relevant experience in
• Current Drivers Licence valid in Victoria
• Proven experience working with vulnerable young people
• Experience working with young people and families
• Sound knowledge and/or understanding of youth and families experiencing difficulties increasing risk of homelessness
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience in the preparation of case noting, reporting and client records.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills to contribute to the planning and development of the service.
