About the opportunity
The purpose of this position is to reduce AOD related harms to individuals and their families by conducting assessments and providing a range of counselling and care and recovery interventions to assist parents who are required to comply with AOD treatment conditions as part of their child’s family reunification order and to support other members of the Family Reunification team located in Gippsland.

About you
We are seeking candidates with a tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, nursing or other relevant allied health discipline, certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs or the required competencies in AOD and qualifications in dual diagnosis (or willingness to undertake). You will also have demonstrated experience in the provision of assessment and treatment services, an understanding of Family Inclusive practice and the best interests of children principles.
